This year the focus of National Careers Week on campus was to encourage students to "climb their careers ladder."  Careers staff went out and about meeting students in various locations during 5 to 9 March.  In the build up to, and during the week, we highlighted subject specific advice and vacancies accessible via our website.  We spoke to over 250 students and over 450 students engaged with the resources we promoted.  Following on, the next week showed a significant increase in the number of students logging on to our website to view our vacancies and on-line resources. This clip shows us giving advice to students; highlighting the various job opportunities currently being advertised on our website as well as our on-line resources for each subject; and the various activities which included our word-search competition to win vouchers, our feedback survey with a box of Belgian chocolates as a prize, and our legendary Careers Snakes and Ladders game!
